                  Interest to power companies for 1000 MW of Dholera Solar Park.

Adani showed interest in Green Energy, Torrent Power and NTPC during EOI (Letters of Intent).

They have sought EOI (Letters of Intent) for the generation of one thousand megawatts of power for the Dholera Solar Park project. Gujarat Energy Development Corporation Limited has filed more than 50 companies (letters of intent) for the tender.

GUVNL on behalf of the Central Government has undertaken the process of setting up a 500 MW Solar Plant for the need of electricity in the circumstances where the Government of Gujarat is setting up an infrastructure facility in Dholera before the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. Is.

According to GUVNL officials, more than 20 companies were interested, including Tata Power Renewable Energy, Torrent Power, NTPC Adani Green Energy’s Renewable Energy, Hindustan Power Project Partner construction Energy, Mahindra Stain Pvt Ltd, Gujarat. Etc.

The companies participating in the project (GPCL) are the nodal agency for the development of the solar park.

GUVNL will purchase power from the Solar PV project.

More meetings will be held after EOI and there is an option of day for this. Earlier, Jayaprakash, Managing Director, Dholera Industrial Development Corporation,  said that the largest ultra mega solar park of 5,000 MW single location is being set up in Dholera. In the first phase, work is underway to set up a 1000 MW solar power plant.

In April 2018, Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani announced this solar project which will be able to generate 5,000 MW of electricity in 11,000 hectares with an investment of Rs 5,000 crore in the Dholera Special Investment Region. Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani gave in-principle approval for the largest solar project in the world.
