A few days ago, there were reports about Tata Power performing Bhoomi Pujan for 400 MW solar power plants at Dholera SIR (Special Investment Region). Amidst the worldwide recession of real estate and infrastructure, it has brought a new life to the industries. The project is part of a 5,000 MW solar power plant, which the Gujarat government is setting up for a future-ready smart city of Dholera, envisioned and planned by the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Another significant development, which this year Was in Gujarat on 18 September, The first approval for the project development was GAP Associate Private Limited, issued to the developer by the Dholera Development Authority and Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). Simple verb but it is really special. This is the result of 11 years of hard work, and a part of the promise made by Narendra Modi.
Here are the some photographs of Bhoomi Pujan of 400 MW solar power plants at Dholera SIR.
Here is the Brief History Lothal.
Lothal is one of the most important cities of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization. This old city, about 2400 BC, is located in the Indian state of Gujarat in the Bhal region and was found in 1954. The Archaeological Survey of India excavated the city from 13 February 1955 to 19 May 1956. Lothal is located near Saragwala village in Dholka taluka of Ahmedabad district. It is located at a distance of kilometers southeast of Lothal Bhurki station on the Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar railway line. Lothal is paved with Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Dholka cities, of which the nearest cities are Dholka and Bagodra. Lothal is also known as Mini Harappa.
Five hundred years ago, when Karnavati (Ahmedabad) was founded by the Chalukya king Karna Solanki of Patan, the focus of development and business shifted to the new city. Of course, nature played a big role and Bhal Pradesh started seeing frequent droughts, which led people to migrate to other places for their livelihood. However, with the construction of check dams in Saurashtra-Kutch, the region saw a huge increase in rain and groundwater. The wastelands of Saurashtra began to grow gold in the early years of the century for farmers, and people returned from places like Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad and Vadodara to re-cultivate their fields. Today, with the Narmada water reaching Saurashtra, those green days are back.
Dholera SIR has some unique features. Farmers will not lose their land, the government will provide world-class infrastructure with provisions ready for the future and landowners will get 50% of their undeveloped land, which is typically 40% in other parts of the country. Farmers can also sell and develop residential, industrial and commercial projects on their land or enter into partnerships. For the remaining 50%, farmers will receive compensation from the government, even though the government has not yet acquired it.
Dholera is an ancient port city and was a prosperous destination in the past. The 5,000-year-old famous Lothal harbor was part of it. Established by the first Guru, the Swaminarayan sect still has a 350-year-old temple and is visited by thousands of devotees every year.
